Ziyada is a hardworking Bahraini woman who built herself up from the ground. She is one of the inspiring women from Bahrain’s golden generation—still creative, still ambitious. She runs a home-based business where she cooks and sells traditional Bahraini dishes along with various food products.

Her project stands out as a successful and unique one, thanks to the remarkable woman behind it who believed in her success and shared that belief with Ebda’a Microfinance (one of AGFUND’s institutions). Ebda’a has been supporting her journey since 2014 and continues to do so today.

Recently, Ziyada received a new loan which she used to purchase supplies, equipment, and kitchen essentials for her growing business—made possible first by God, and then by her relentless dedication and hard work.

Ebda’a remains committed to supporting Ziyada (and every determined, exceptional Bahraini woman like her) on the path to achieving her dreams and improving her quality of life.
